Not a bad thing you say to yourself as you fill in your email address and your name in the harmless form, after all, it's free and I'm not buying anything. To comply with Anti-Spam Laws you will receive an email that asks you to confirm your request for additional information. You are now a "Double Opt-In Subscriber" and by clicking on the link to confirm your desire, you are whisked away to the promise land of thousands of dollars filling your bank accounts. You have just fallen prey to one of the biggest traps on the internet!
Now, I am not suggesting that every program on the internet is a scam, by any means. There a literally thousands of people legitimately making very large amounts of money on the internet every day and there are truly some valuable and legitimate ways to make money from home on the internet. What I am suggesting is that by "opting in" to a list, you have agreed to receive a sales pitch for the product du' jour the marketer is selling.
